I love… when the Escape train rolls through Boise every summer.
I hate… rudeness. Social skills are important, people.
I want… to read more.
I need… good conversations & wilderness.
Favorite Escape Tour: Gooseberry!
Favorite Trail: the one with the best company (ie my co-guides)
The other guides always said I was: short, but not as short as Nikki.
Favorite Grub Box Item: I wish the grub box was the beer cooler
Always carry… wit.
What I miss most about being an Escape Tour guide: the 16 hour work days. Seriously, it’s a great way to get fit and save up for winters of free time.
Best Escape Memory: Having my guests be more worried about me than themselves when their luggage fell out of the trailer and was lost for 2 days.
Words of Wisdom: secure the trailer doors with toe straps.
Significant Escape moment: An American diplomat living in Switzerland was a guest of mine on a 2006 Bryce Zion tour. He recommended I get a master’s in public policy. I took his advice and found my calling.
