By special request, we've added a shorter, four day version of our most popular road cycling trip, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and the Grand Canyon. In 2007, our Bryce/Zion support vehicle will be fueled by vegetable oil.
By saving the Grand Canyon riding for another trip, you get to experience all the great riding of Bryce and Zion in just four days.
The tour begins with a steep but short uphill at the ski resort followed by a long descent of over 8,000 feet to the high desert base of sandstone and sage. In Butch Cassidy country, a beautifully constructed bicycle path takes us through the pinnacles, hoodoos, and bridges of Red Canyon. The next day we ride the wild west plains to the base of Bryce Canyon, where we enter the park, ascend into tall ponderosa forests, and ride from one spectacular vista to the next. Leaving Bryce Canyon, we descend 3,000 feet through Long Valley to Zion National Park for a transcendent ride traversing the magnificent cliffs of Zion.
