| This tour departs from our Moab headquarters at Moab Cyclery.
On July 15, 1869, while near Bow Knot Bend, John Wesley Powell named Labyrinth Canyon. Located just south of Green River, Utah and bordering Canyonlands National Park this canyon is famous for its inspiring walls and dramatic bends of the river. We spend the first four days of our adventure in kayaks, enjoying the meandering pace of the Green River. Next, we trade paddles for pedals and hop on our bikes for the remainder of the journey.
Utah’s White Rim Trail has become a favorite Canyonlands annual pilgrimage for countless numbers of mountain bikers. The trail follows the canyons carved by the Green and Colorado Rivers. A multi-colored array of spires, arches, buttes, and mesas comprise the classic high desert scenery of Canyonlands National Park.
With our commitment to the environment, Escape Adventures will be the only outfitter in Canyonlands National Park to use a support vehicle fueled exclusively by vegetable oil.
This trip is done in cooperation with Sheri Griffith Expeditions.
