The quiet Victorian town of Breckenridge is our base camp for three days of high elevation mountain biking in central Colorado. Our bike tour emerges from the shadows of the majestic Ten Mile Range and continues alongside haunting relics of mining days long since past. Winding through the sloping hills of Breckenridge Ski Resort, we bike the Memorial Trail, a scenic trail established in memorial to the pioneer who was first to announce the stunning beauty of Breckenridge to the world. Finally we are left with a choice opportunity; to enjoy the last day's scenery with a relaxing cruise back to town, or to push the limits on the old mining camp Como descent.
This mountain bike trip is well-suited for riders with singletrack experience and for adventurous travelers who can handle high elevations.
