The legendary spirit of Kokopelli is said to have begun his journey near what is now Grand Junction. More than 140 miles of secluded trails and jeep roads direct you towards Moab along his famed path of prosperity and fertility.
After a refreshing stop along the banks of the Colorado River, you climb into Utah's Canyon Country. Large iron and copper cliffs loom overhead on the amazing Onion Creek ride. Continuing on, climb high into the snow-capped Manti La Sal Mountains, where you complete your journey into Moab with an exhilarating descent on the popular Porcupine Rim Trail.
Rating the trail's difficulty is a challenge, as the terrain can vary widely from serene, meandering jeep roads to steep, rocky & technical sections you may have to hike thru. 95% of the trail is completely rideable by a strong intermediate rider with average technical skills and a solid base of endurance training.
