Cycling the Oregon Coast
Rolling down National Scenic Highway 101 along the foothills and beaches of the Pacific Northwest, our Oregon road cycling trip showcases the beautiful and diverse 360-mile Oregonian coastline.
Starting from the Columbia River at Fort Stevens State Park, we wind our way down the coast, enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean from several stunning cliff overlooks. Our biking tour is punctuated with a layover day which allows us to explore several state parks nearby and enjoy the rugged coast at our leisure. We then head to Reedsport, where lush forest gives way to thousands of acres of cream-colored sand dunes known as the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Evenings are spent in quaint inns and resorts steeped in local history and flavor and brought to a close with a brilliant Pacific Ocean sunset. This cycling vacation rewards us with once in a lifetime memories and experiences highlighting the very best of coastal Oregon!
