The Maze and Cataract Canyon Adventure

This tour departs from our Moab headquarters at Moab Cyclery.

The Maze is the most remote section of Canyonlands National Park. This lost land of canyons and desert is one of the least traveled and inaccessible areas in the continental United States.

We've planned an unforgettable journey into the Maze, taking full advantage of its unique character and outstanding slickrock riding. This area is so remote and the terrain so rugged, we are the only mountain bike outfitter to venture this far and offer the most remote highlights of the Maze. In fact, We have customized our own highly specialized support vehicles to get through this terrain and carry your gear.

This tour combines the awesome sights and riding of our Maze tour, with a unique backcountry rafting expedition. On the second half of our tour we head out on the river with Sherri Griffith Expeditions. SGE has been guiding trips down the Colorado since 1971, and their expert guides will make you feel right at home on the river. Rafting through calm water provides solitude deep in the canyons, while occasional rapids provide incredible adventure. Throw in the unique opportunity to spend the night camping on the soft sand shores of the river, and this trip can't be beat!
